(2011 Vintage) An elegant, balanced Cabernet with flavors of black cherry, plum, and black tea, and hints of nutmeg, allspice, cassis, vanilla, and anise. The broad mid-palate is rich, the finish is long, and the tannins are lush.
Perfect wine , we drank it with a tomahawk just amazing ( year 2011 )
Abrasive... Maybe if it sits 6 mknths... Maybe
Had this wine at Magaret's 50th. Great wine.
Smooth, delicious accompaniment to steak
Nice smooth wine. At tryst in delray
Not fruity enough for me

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2006 Vintage) Although leading with appealing, medium-deep aromas of ripe currants and forest-floor spice, this bottling wanders just a bit off the track as its likeable fruit loses a step and is passed at the finish by coarsening tannins. To be sure, time is required, and four or five years is the minimum wait, but we would be more comfortable about setting a few bottles aside if it showed a bit more fruity stamina.
