Wine Description

On the palate, a plush, dense mouthfeel supports lush flavors of raspberry and blackberry, as well as hints of licorice and red apple skin. Oak-derived notes of clove, brown sugar and vanilla pave the way to a supple finish hinting at sweet leather and loamy earth.

Nose has cedar, cherries and plums, body is robust for a pinot, initial fruit forward character subsides in to a nice blend of tannin and earth on the end. Superb.

Smoke, earth, intense, strawberry and cherry. Nice full body for pinot. Just delicious. Love it so much. Elegant with so much flavor.

(2007 Vintage) This wine makes a strong first impression: a bold hit of dark berries, a cool, spicy length of flavor that’s more than just fruit. There’s an earth tone to the tannin that adds a subtle black olive-skin or black mushroom savor. And then oak makes its presence clear. Supple and juicy, this should evolve well over the next several years.

(2002 Vintage) "This rich, hearty Pinot exhibits a broad, complex range of ripe black cherry, raspberry and wild berry fruit flavors that are well-defined and long and persistenton the palate, ending with a burst of flavor and ripe, supple tannins."
