(From 2012 Vintage) A unique combination of barrel fermentation followed by extended “sur lie” aging in concrete vats. Balance and restraint in a varietal not always associated with these traits
This is a dry wine of substantial scale that carries itself well, as it retains a delicacy to complement food, not overwhelm. The alcohol is kept low, the acidity high, and the flavors crisp and refreshing.
For the value this is really nice. Light buttery notes. Dances on the tongue a bit, almost feels effervescent. Really nice with a mild cheese.
Very nice Chardonnay with only faintest of oakiness and no butteriness. Learned on winery your that it is only in oak for 6 days.
Not super oaky or buttery
Sharp and not very fruity
Red zin. Sooo good
