(2009 Vintage) The first taste of the 2009 Freeman Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir gives a preview of just how complex this wine becomes in the glass. The aromas range from floral and spice to deep, ripe berry fruits. There's a very dense palate impression, unlike any of our Keefers since the 2005. At the same time, the acidity in the '09 is bright, and predicts this wine will age very well for years to come. Lay the 2009 Freeman Keefer down until 2012, and it should start to reach its full potential from that point through 2018.
quite strong aromas of strawberry, black fruits with hint cola. ruby colour. quite rich but felt slightly out of balance with fruit and sweetness, lacked elegance. nice length but further proof best Pinot never leaves US. pretty good but not worth the money.
A very light and fruity Pinot. this wine is made to pair with cheese (port salut) or a light dish. Strawberry and red fruit abound on the palate followed by light leather and spice. Nose is strawberry, some rhubarb and light leather.

International Wine Cellar(2005 Vintage) Medium red. Smoky, floral-accented raspberry and redcurrant aromas, plus a bright mineral hint. Fresh and focused, with bright red berry flavors, fine-grained tannins and a refreshing suggestion of orange peel on the finish. Nicely balanced, elegant pinot, with impressive purity and finishing persistence.
International Wine Cellar(2009 Vintage) Vivid red. Captivating perfume of raspberry, spicecake, rose and minerals. Very ripe but juicy and bracing, with sweet red berry preserve, mineral and floral pastille flavors supported by a firm spine of minerality. Finishes with excellent focus and spicy, floral persistence.
