2011 VIEUX TELEGRAPHE “Deep ruby. Expressive, powerful aromas of blackberry and cherry are brightened by suave floral and spice notes. Lush and creamy, with sappy dark berry flavors, silky tannins and a gentle lift of acidity. Picks up seductive Asian spice notes with air, finishing sweet and very long. (90-92/100)” - Josh Raynolds, International Wine Cellar “This beautifully made 2011 offers immediate drinkability, which is unusual for Vieux Telegraphe. A deep ruby color is accompanied by notes of pepper, roasted meats, Provencal herbs, black cherries, black currants, tapenade, seaweed and salty sea breezes. This complex, delicious, full throttle Chateauneuf du Pape should drink well for 10-15 years. 2012-2027 (90-93/100)” - Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

(2006 Vintage) Deep red. Vivid red berry and cherry liqueur aromas complemented by baking spices and white pepper. The supple, gently sweet palate offers deeper dark berry flavors. The peppery note repeats on the finish, which leaves behind sappy raspberry and blueberry notes. The lively fruit here is more straightforward that that of the La Crau.

(2004 Vintage) Medium red. Spicy, focused red berry aroma. Brisk strawberry and raspberry flavors are complicated by tangy mineral and pepper notes. Finishes bright and racy, with a zesty redcurrant note and a suggestion of lavender.
