Malbec has thrived in Argentina since the 1800s when cuttings were transplanted from their original home in France. Now considered among the world’s most distinguished red wines, Malbec flourishes in Mendoza. Two of Argentina’s most highly respected vignerons supply Diseño Malbec from old growth vineyards in Mendoza. Vines grow in fertile soil, rich with old mineral deposits, irrigated by heavy winter snow melt from the Andes glaciers. Both families hold great respect for tradition in their pursuit of quality.
A rich wine with an inviting bouquet of stone sfuit. A hint of coffee complements the blueberry, spice and chocolate flavors.
Tart berry nose. Full-bodied. Smooth aftertaste. Dark berry flavors including blueberry, spice, and chocolate. Very delicious on its own or with salty snacks.
Tried on the Baltic cruise. Very nice and drinkable, would buy. Had at Cafe Touché 9/13. same opinion. Nice wine, paid $ 30/ bottle
Buy twelve and this tasty Malbec can be had at Burke's for $8 per. Sweet.
