(2011 Vintage) Vibrant and racy with concentrated fresh fruit flavor and hints of black perpper and spice. Rich on the palate with lingering fruit and a nice soft texture.
Nice zin. Berry flavored with subtle spice and pepper finish.
Good, tannic, slightly peppery, slightly jammy, good nose
Okay Zin...not bad, not great
Easy drinking good flavors
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2006 Vintage) Here is a balanced, mid-sized look at Zinfandel whose tempered ripeness makes it one for the table. Its clean and nicely focused berryish fruit is not pushed aside by chocolate, nor does it give up to harshness or heat. It is fit with good acidity and just the right bit of firming tannins, and, while its balance will hold it in fine stead over the next two to four years, it will drink well with tomato-sauced pastas in the short term. GOOD VALUE
