Wine Description

(2010 Vintage) The nose is chock-full of fresh blackberries, cherries and dark chocolate sprinkled with spices. The palate is fresh and juicy, ripe red fruits mix with plums, blackcurrant, flowers and a twist of black pepper. The tannins are fine with d'Arenberg's trademark earthiness helping keep this easy going wine in check.

(2010 Vintage) This is a rich, soft and flavoursome red in the traditional McLaren Vale style. Mulberry and plum flavours from the Grenache combine with the blackberry, spice and white pepper of the Shiraz. Best served at room temperature, this wine will gain added complexity with careful cellaring over the next 2 – 5 years.

A good drinking red, suitable for drinking whilst you wait for your food to cook.

(2009 Vintage) "Light and lively, with pretty floral apple flavors at the fore, remaining on the finish with hints of grapefruit and spice in a refreshing style. Riesling, Marsanne and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now. 5,000 cases imported."
