The GMS shows classic stylistic notes typical of the generosity of flavours that are purely Barossa. Through careful selection of the best fruit, this blend of 55% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre and 20% Shiraz was harvested from vineyards with an average age of 70 years.
This wine was rated #30 in Wine Spectator's Top 100 of 2012. Smooth and spicy, with distinctive black olive and tar overtones to the blackberry and spice flavors, finishing with supple texture and refinement. Drink now through 2018. Score - 92. (Harvey Steiman, Wine Spectator, Nov. 15, 2012)
