Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2006 Vintage) Bright, slightly berry-like fruit is seasoned with a big dose of oak and cedary spice in the nose here, and, in the mouth, the wine runs true to expectations in that it is defined equally by both its oak and fruit. It drifts to dryness and ends with a slight woody edge that outdistances fruit at the finish, and it comes up just short of full recommendation.
