(2015 Vintage) A brilliant pale green in the glass, this pure and bright Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has a vibrant fruit driven nose bursting with passionfruit, grapefruit, melon and gooseberry. On the palate luscious fruit flavours of citrus, ripe tropical fruits, and lifted herbaceous notes are finely balanced with zesty acidity, an underlying minerality, and just a hint of residual sweetness. Juicy, crisp and fresh this wine leads to a long and dry, persistent finish.
Wine & Spirits(2011 Vintage) The only wine from New Zealand actually made by the native Maori people, Kono Sauvignon Blanc is more lemon-lime than grapefruit, although it still has that fresh grassiness for which the grape is famous. Zesty and refreshing, it's the perfect porch-sipping wine.
