(From 2013 Vintage) The 2013 Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromatics of mocha, roasted blue fruits, plums, and cherry spice. The wine enters sweet on the palate, well-structured and with firm tannins mid-palate, followed by a long, balanced finish.
The 2010 Joel Gott 815 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of plum, raspberry and cherry cola with hints of anise, cocoa, leather and dried herbs. Bright acidity on the front of the palate leads to a complex mid-palate and soft tannins on the finish.
Nice red wine. Light for a cab. But good drink
Great $10 SB - not too tart or fruity. Complex but subtle and refreshing.
Good solid cab can't go wrong with this choice
Smoother than most without a tannic bite
a weaker cab, not very interesting
Good Structure and good body
gift from Steve.
