The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is big and lush with huge gobs of fruit in the aroma and flavor. The texture of the wine is soft and supple, typical of Cabernet Sauvignons grown in our area of the Oakville AVA. Tight and concentrated, with a dense, rich, chewy beam of dried currant, mineral, graphite, black cherry and blackberry fruit that’s intense and full-blown, both flexing its muscle while displaying deft balance. Ends with a compact, layered finish.
This is a big red! Just how I like em. Yum!
A bit heavily osked, but not too acidic.
Great sipping. Don't need food.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(From 2003 Vintage) Solidly varietal aromas of dried grasses and hay, melon and citrus are moderately rich and just a little on the pungent side. Slightly rounded yet also a touch narrow and pinched, the wine picks up a stony, minerally edge and closes with a hint of bitterness in its otherwise mildly fruity aftertaste.
