Decoy Red Wine Sonoma County

Wine Description

(2010 Vintage) This approachable wine is layered with bright acidity and forward fruit balanced by well-integrated tannins. The aroma is distinct with raspberry, plum, black pepper, tobacco and black olive. The flavors are abundant with blackberry, bittersweet chocolate, cedar, toasty oak, and a caramel finish.

Mixed cherries with some layerings of flavor but not much, some chocolate and spice, moderate tannins. Much better on the second day. Do you find this review helpful? Drinkable. But not what I expect from a $30 bottle. Get it for under $20 at Costco.

Good acidity, but ripe tannins. Blackcurrant, licorice, ripe plum, vanilla bean.
