(2010 Vintage) Discover the allure of Argentina with a deep, delectable Malbec from Mendoza. A heady, yet dry nose of blueberries and leather opens up to a palate of intense chocolate, mocha and plums. A soft velvety texture and hint of spice leads to a finishing note of toasted oak. We carefully select the best fruit from our Mendoza vineyards, picking dark and delicious berries that mature gradually and gracefully. Rooted in stony alluvial soil, the grapes are harvested, gently crushed and left to ferment slowly with extra skin contact. Aging in oak barrels results in a full, soft, intense and rich Malbec.
really really good. smooth plum berry deep red delicious. think red velvet cupcake minus the icing. slightly dry finish. fucking good. aroma is mediocre. good with meat strong cheese and alone if in the mood for deep rich E. A. Poe like experience.
Dark color. Fruity, moderate nose with after-hint of earthiness. Fruity, watery taste with light tannins. Much better than most Argentine Malbecs which are shipped in bulk and bottled in California. Good value.
very good wine. nothing too bold but a very good wine for with meats or strong cheese. I think it'd be a good wine for a gathering, not strong enough to turn anyone off.
Nice easy drink. Solid good wine but lacking any boldness that prevents it from being truly great or terribly awful.
loved this wine!!'
