Early flowering and fruit-set at the beginning of June were accompanied by hot, sunny, and relatively dry weather. Véraison (colour change) was also early. The grapes ripened completely thanks to warm temperatures in August and September. The exceptionally dry weather during the harvest was everything a winegrower could wish for.
