(2010 Vintage) Dark ruby/plum colored, with evolved notes of cedar wood, earth and underbrush, this wine possesses the classic tobacco leaf and black currants of a mid-level Medoc. It is medium-bodied, has good ripeness and should age nicely for 15 or more years.
Just opened it and right off the back can pick up the spice and earth in it. Letting it sit for 30 or so minutes before drinking but I had to have a sip to compare hehe. The first sip has a lot of complexity and a long finish with more spice up front and plum comes toward the end when the spice calms down. So far I love it and for $20 great wine.
Blackcurrant, cherries, mineral underines, soft tannins
Good, but not great. Good value for $20
