Wine Description

(From 1993 Vintage) Highly coloured and full of flavour, holding out the promise of well-balanced, full-bodied wines.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2008 Vintage) "Rose and currant aromas follow through to a medium body, with fine tannins and a clean finish. A more delicate style Clerc...88-91" WS 4/09"Black-red, richly concentrated blackcurrants nose, quite smoky and spicy, very good structure and firmness, firm, even a little raw still but very good, quite tight expression that will become more floral and broad. Drink 2015-25...four stars" Decanter 4/09
