Wine Description

This wine opens with lively red fruit aromas complimented by hints of anise, violets and a slight earthiness. Flavors mirror aromas, leading with a backbone of cherry, followed by sweet-tart strawberry and cranberry flavors with notes of vanilla and spice. Plush, fruity tannins and lively, balanced acidity lead to a crisp, lip-smacking finish. Meant to drink young.

    (2010 Vintage) The 2006 Pinot Noir "Whole Cluster Fermented" is always a crowd-pleaser, particularly in what looks to be a terrific vintage. The wine underwent carbonic maceration and was raised in stainless steel. It has a fragrant strawberry and raspberry perfume followed by a big mouthful of sweet, ripe fruit. Nicely balanced, this is truly a wine of pleasure at a great price. Drink it over the next 2-3 years.
