(From 2011 Vintage) Elegant and well-meshed, with a pretty note of tea rose wafting through the flavors of dried strawberry, pekoe tea leaf, red licorice and spice box. Light- to medium-bodied, ending with a long smoke- and spice-tinged finish.
(From 2010 Vintage) Deep purple color with jammy aromas of wild cherries, plums, raspberries and blackberries reveals the Tommasi Ripasso. Then pepper, leather, tar, and some fine cedar. On the palate, the Tommasi Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore very concentrated with intense spicy aromas, great acidity-sweetness ratio. In the Departure sticky and long lasting denoch elegant.
