Rich and ripe on the nose, the wine is complex and full-bodied on the palate, with lots of dried plum and cherry notes that linger on the finish.

Amarone della valpolicello is a wine that touches one soul! This wine has a sweetness which complements its dry full bodied flavor. This makes one understand the word contemplative. It is rich and smooth and so it becomes a temptress for one to drink it day in and day out! Amarone pairs well with autumnal food but it is also the finishing touch to a late summer dessert! It is the ultimate wine which best describes the yin and yang of its velvety fermented and delicious grapes from the Veneto region! Cento Anni!

The nose is powerful but elusive, red and black stone fruits, leather. Cedar, tobacco, black cherries, and a long sultry finish. Incredibly intense and absolutely beautiful.

(From 2007 Vintage) "An aromatic Amarone, showing lots of violet and rose petal aromas and flavors, with hints of sandalwood and anise accenting the ripe black cherry, currant and blackberry flavors. Fresh and polished, with lightly chewy tannins that rush through on the finish. Best from 2012 through 2030. 7,500 cases made."
