Winemaker's Notes

(From 2008 Vintage) After careful selection, the grapes from Rocca delle Macie estates are vinified in the traditional method of Chianti Classico. Once the fermentation is complete, the wine is matured in oak barrels for at least 2 years then bottled. It remains in the bottle for about 6 months to mature before being released.
