Winemaker's Notes

(From 2014 Vintage) A complex, multi-dimensional, seamless wine loaded with verve and excitement. Notes of almonds, lemon zest, orange preserves, pastry dough, sandalwood, mint. Really enticing. Round and generous as the wine unfolds in the mouth, the acidity enhances and draws out the flavors beautifully. Pleasure and interest abound on the long, graceful, persistent finish. Our chardonnays seem to be getting better and better with each passing vintage.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: December 23, 2011: Issue 198 Rating: 90 The 2009 Chardonnay is a gorgeous, fleshy wine. This is a fairly large-scaled Chardonnay, with plenty of rich varietal fruit, but all of the elements are nicely integrated. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015.
