Owen Roe Cabernet Sauvignon Sharecropper's

Wine Details

Owen Roe

Wine Description

(2011 Vintage) Everyone’s favorite go-to weeknight Cab does not disappointed. Sweet aromas of blackberry, candied fruit, vanilla and brown sugar leads to a more savory palate of pomegranate, green pepper and oil cured olives. This Cabernet finishes with bright acidity and lingering tannins. We recommend opening this wine now and enjoying it at a young age, however, this will age well for 4-6 years when properly cellared.

Lots of mouthfeel. A little too much acid. Dark ruby in color. Tiny nose. Tastes of raisin and unripe plum with a little chalk. Could use bigger fruit and tannins
