Pale gold in colour, this wine displays aromas of nashi pear, quince and apple crumble. The palate is soft and textural, rich with flavours of fig and stone-fruit and a creaminess balanced by a fine acidity. Delicious with pork, Asian inspired dishes, or try it with a salad of blue cheese, pear and walnut. This wine has the potential to improve over the next five years, whilst providing fresh lively drinking immediately.
The fruit for this wine was whole-bunch pressed and fermented with wild yeast. Fifty percent of the blend was aged in seasoned French oak barriques for six months, for added texture and complexity.
