(From 2011 Vintage) Vinification: The bunches were carefully destemmed and left to macerate for a short period. Next, the fruit was soft crushed. The must obtained was then allowed to settle. The now-clarified must fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, where it matured for about six months.
Ageing: After fermentation, the wine was left on the lees in the stainless steel containers for six months. Bottling took place in March 2004. The bottled wine was aged in temperature-controlled binning cellars for a minimum of two months.
(From 2011 Vintage) Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio is a straw yellow color with light copper hues. The nose is extremely fine and intense, crispy and complex, with evident notes of jasmine and wild flowers; aromas of white peach, apricot, pink grapefruit, pear, banana, cantaloupe and mango; a light note of crust at the end. The palate is fresh and silky, with good balance; excellent retro-nasal aromatics; mineral components well integrated.
