(2015 Vintage) These grapes were selected from vineyards in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley and the neighbouring Awatere Valley. Fast draining, alluvial loams over gravelly subsoils in these valleys provide ideal growing conditions for our Sauvignon Blanc. Individual blocks were targeted for their strengths and overall contribution to the blend. The vines ranged in age, up to 14 years, bringing a mix of youthful vigour and depth of flavour.
Light straw color. Nose of grapefruit, lemon zest, ivy/foliage, artificial banana, chewing gum. Medium alcohol. Plenty of fruit with flavors of bitter greens and asparagus. Pairs well with shellfish and salads.
very crisp and not as sweet as ponga. strong grapefruit flavor with a little pear and pineapple.
Grass and citrus notes mixed with a refreshing rain. unfortunately slightly sour for my taste.

Planet Grape(2016 Vintage) Crisp, vivid, tingly and nearly austere with notes of lemongrass, oregano, spring pea. chive, lime, honeydew, cantaloupe and ripe pineapple.
