(From 1998 Vintage) Moderately dark ruby red in color, the Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon has aromas of cherry, blueberry with a hint of orange rind and violet. The bouquet is a dark complex of tar, tobacco, cedar and chocolate oak. Showing ripe and velvety soft tannins supported by good acidity, this wine is delicious now with grilled or roasted red meats and red-sauced pasta dishes and will develop additional complexity with bottle aging.
Vulgært fad og overekstraheret frugt. men på en kommerciel og drikkevenlig måde.
not bad cherry, currant, medium body, I would buy or drink again
fruit forward, medium bodied, not too sweet
decent....got better with time, served quite chilled.
Rich red cherry aromas, very smooth and not too dry
smooth big red, not a big fragrance
not full bodied; no distinct flavor
good with red meat
