(From 2013 Vintage) The 2013 J. Lohr Estates Falcon’s Perch Pinot Noir offers mixed, ripe notes of black cherry, strawberry and dried herbs lifted by vanilla spice. Plump red fruit on the palate finishes with a touch of talc and rhubarb. The clean acidity invites a wide range of food pairings.
Smooth begining with light berry notes before a peppery center with a (not unplesant) slight bitter accidity during the finish. Quite good wine for the price.
Light body and color. Nice fruity aroma, Mildly tannic, somewhat sweet.
OK not too dry, but blah
I like it!
