Lightly pale-straw-colored and crystal clear, this aromatic wine features iridescent waves of Bosc pear, green apple and Jamaican banana on the nose, pouring out of the glass like the Monterey County fog it grew up in. It is a full-bodied white wine full of richness and velvety smoothness, with vibrant acidity perfectly balanced with the clean "bowl of fruit" on the palate.
Concentrated and voluptuous, this wine is a perfect companion to seafood pasta, scampi or chicken Alfredo.
87 Points, Wine Enthusiast:
"Lots going on in this affordable wine. It’s zesty in acidity, with a minerally bite to the pineapple, green apple and pear jam fruit. Straddles the border between dry and honey sweet. S.H." (3/1/2011)
