(2009 Vintage) This Cabernet is packed with rich aromas of black cherry, black licorice and a hint of roasted coffee. Its full body and smooth tannins make it the perfect partner with grilled steak, rack of lamb or roasted duck.

Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2003 Vintage) Oozing with sweet, black-cherryish fruit in the nose and on the front of the palate, this two-faced effort gives and then takes away as it heats up and dries out at the finish. Its uneven nature raises concerns about aging even though it has plenty of tannin to lose, and its future is at this point uncertain enough to cost it a chance for a star.
Wine News(2004 Vintage)
Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wines(2000 Vintage) 8% Merlot; 2% Cabernet Franc. If long on the sweeter, vanillin, almost root-beer-like elements of very creamy oak, this graceful, medium-dense Cabernet comes with plenty of engaging, easy-to-taste fruit working in its favor and is focused on currants and ripe black cherries throughout. Slightly rounded on the palate and a bit narrow in back, it is a deep, accessible and eminently tasty wine that is thoroughly enjoyable now yet still has a plenty of room for mid-term improvement.
