Terroir-inspired aromas of pennyroyal and sassafras shine through on the nose, alongside notes of plum, hard cherry candy, clove, nutmeg and earth. The entry is round and silky, offering a broad spectrum of berry flavors, ranging from dark red fruit to blueberries and blackberries, all supported by posh oak and undertones of tobacco, leather and earth. An excellent tannin structure adds to the appealing texture of this wine and leads to a finish supported by refreshing acidity.
Light nose with an air of berry. Medium bodied. Dark purple. Plum and black cherry on the palate.
Spicy Pinot. Opens up over time with smooth berry notes. Long rich finish.
Really good. Goes good with burgers. Got 2 bottles from Joe Waked
Yummy. Smooth but bolder than typical pinot

Wine & Spirits(2007 Vintage) This wine makes a strong first impression: a bold hit of dark berries, a cool, spicy length of flavor that’s more than just fruit. There’s an earth tone to the tannin that adds a subtle black olive-skin or black mushroom savor. And then oak makes its presence clear. Supple and juicy, this should evolve well over the next several years.
Wine Spectator(2002 Vintage) "This rich, hearty Pinot exhibits a broad, complex range of ripe black cherry, raspberry and wild berry fruit flavors that are well-defined and long and persistenton the palate, ending with a burst of flavor and ripe, supple tannins."
