(From 2011 Vintage) Falesco Merlot, which is aged for six months in small French oak barrels, has a very deep colour. The scents are wide, rich, soft and spicy and the aromas are noble, well balanced and harmonious with an extremely long lingering finish.

It is a decidedly firm, vibrant Merlot that stands in stark contrast to the super-ripe, obvious Vitiano Rosso. Here the fruit is wonderfully precise and elegant. Jammy blueberries, blackberries, cinnamon, leather and crushed rocks are woven into a beautiful fabric.
