Wine Description

(From 2011 Vintage) Light greenish-yellow color. The complex, multi-layered nose combines mineral notes with expressive tropical fruits. Hints of minerality are balanced by bright acidity and a lush and creamy texture. Elegant and approachable, the wine has a long, persistent finish.

Winemaker's Notes

Light greenish-yellow in color, this is an elegant wine with notes of fresh fruit very nicely complemented by light aromas of toast and yeast. A quick swirl in the glass reveals citrusy floral notes recalling grapefruit and mandarin orange blossoms. The palate offers plenty of fruit with vibrant acidity that lends tremendous freshness that balances perfectly with its sumptuously creamy mouthfeel that results from malolactic fermentation. Medium body and volume accompanies this elegant wine.

"Greenish-yellow in colour, our Estate Chardonnay displays all of the intensity of the fruit obtained this year. Notes of pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, and quince predominate over a layer of citrus and lemon blooms, all wrapped in a layer of light toast that adds complexity. Bright acidity keeps it fresh, while a pleasingly creamy texture lingers on its elegant finish." -Winery
