Wine Description

(2012 Vintage) Medium bodied and round, the mouth feel is lower in acid and much less tightly wound than the 2011 Le Mont Sec. The flavors are up front and exotic -- apples, quince, lime, tangerine, substantial flowery perfume, creamy/waxy notes, and chalk. If not showing its usual depth, the Le Mont's flavors are complex and nimble. The finish is very good, not streamlined or exceptionally long, but showing substantial complexity, with dancing flavors of fruit, nut oils, and chalk.

It combines a richly fragrant depth of fruit with a tightly focused structure and grip, managing to feel both racy and broad at the same time.
