Wine & Spirits(2007 Vintage) The 2009 Les Champauvins Cotes du Rhone is their single-vineyard Cotes du Rhone that comes from a vineyard just across the street from where the appellation of Chateauneuf du Pape ends. This is a big, full-bodied, more structured Cotes du Rhone, with notes of kirsch, licorice, black truffles and meat juices. It is a heady wine with moderate tannins that are still present. It will benefit from another 6-12 months of bottle age and drink well for 5-7 years.
