(2011 Vintage) Casillero del Diablo Carmenere comes from the renowned Rapel Valley, specifically from our vineyards in Peumo on the northern bank of the Cachapoal River. The soils in this zone are alluvial with a silty-clay texture, and the climate is Mediterranean with a long dry season. This area does not experience extremes of heat or cold due to the proximity to the Cachapoal River and Rapel Lake, which moderate the temperatures throughout the year.
