(2013 Vintage) Casillero del Diablo Carmenere comes from the renowned Rapel Valley, specifically from our vineyards in Peumo on the northern bank of the Cachapoal River. The soils in this zone are alluvial with a silty-clay texture, and the climate is Mediterranean with a long dry season.
Nice, thick body. Slightly acidic taste. Didn't pair well with lemon pork tenderloin, but had to re-cork to stop from finishing the bottle.
Great complexity after opening. Described as ...chocolate, coffee and spice combine with raspberries and blackberries...
Sempre uma boa escolha com excelente custo x beneficio a reserva assombrada de Don Melchor da mais feminina das uvas....
