Winemaker's Notes

Fiery, ruby red. Black currants, red cherries with touches of toasted French oak. On the palate, it is smooth, round and potent. Fine and well balanced, the Marques has a long finish.

    dark raspberry color light just shone thru. sulfites blow off after an hour. shy nose. some creaminess on palate. avg fruit quality. heat of alc battles acidity a bit for a slightly harsh experience. this finds better balance with air. some light tannins cling to teeth. 85 pts me
