Wine Description

The elegant packaging is matched by the wine, which shows ripe, sweet blackberry and blackcurrant fruit with a nice fresh quality and a hint of some meaty savouriness lurking in the background. Ripe, dense, structured and quite serious, and opens out nicely with air.

(2012 Vintage) This is a solid effort that's packed with blackberry fruits and dark tannins. The wine has weight and structure that is balanced with the fruitiness.

(2006 Vintage) Bright ruby-red. Subtly scented aromas of red berries and flowers. Suave on entry, then ripe, floral and nicely delineated, with modest flesh but good lift. The wine's ripe acids extend the finish, and the rather suave tannins spread out to coat the palate. A good showing.
