(From 2012 Vintage) Located in one of the highest-plantable sites in the southern portion of the Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County known as the ”Mission District”. This pristine bench offers the vineyard cool, coastal days but it enjoys warmer afternoon temperatures and tamer winds than the northern portion of the appellation. The combination of this climate with site-specific farming consistently produces pinot noirs of great texture, depth and balance.

This is for me the starting point of decent Pinot's. Big, yet gentle on the palate. It's subtle cultured / curd flavor is beautiful & yet unique. A hint of melon, strawberry is evident, but depends much of course on the person(s) enjoying. Worth every penny.
fruit driven. grips at first needs decanting. delicious. dark brooding Pinot. not a lightweight.
