Wine Description

(From 2013 Vintage) Subtle flavors of raspberries, spice, and pepper that continue to gain in intensity all the way through to the lively, erfumed aromas of rose petal, cranberry, raspberry and spice box continue as flavors in the bright, juicy mouth.

Winemaker's Notes

This Pinot Noir is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months and has a brilliant deep, ruby red color with intense aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, cherry highlighted by spice and toasty oak. Fresh, rich ripe flavors of black cherry, cola and plum layered with a subtle touch of vanilla oak & raspberry. Food & Wine Pairing: Try our Angeline Pinot Noir with Portobello mushroom burgers or a lightly, seared salmon fillet.

This is the second label of Martin Ray, allowing you to enjoy their high end style of wine at an everyday sipper price. Fresh aromas of red raspberries and cherries lead to a wine with gentle strawberry notes and warm vanillin oak. This wine is very easygoing with a bright demeanor.
