The juice ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats; no malolactic fermentation to maintain as much natural acidity as possible. Two years of cellar aging.

    Floral and spicy. Sugar is very balanced with acidity to make this a really nice glass of wine. Would be great with food.

    (2005 Vintage) "Trimbach's 'classic' 2005 Gewurztraminer offers a model of restraint and refreshment that I can only wish more growers would emulate. Smelling of smoked meats, celery seed and sea breeze, it is positively bracing even before it hits the palate, where a certain oily richness does not equate to heaviness nor preclude vivacity.
