(2012 Vintage) Vibrant and deep ruby color. The very attractive nose has aromas of fresh blackberry, red currant and dried fruit. The palate is round and opens with earthy/herbal tones and finishes with silky flavors of cassis, chocolate and black pepper. Balanced and drinkable now, but also an excellent addition to the collector's cellar.
Lush aromas fill your glass with black currant, boysenberries, and bing cherries. On the palate, these fruit flavors lengthen into a spicy finish with the help of balanced tannin as a backbone. The medium weight body adds a soft texture that coats your mouth and lingers long after your last sip. Blend: 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot 1% Cabernet Franc, 1% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot
tannins are tamed, very smooth, finish lingers pleasantly, nice cab nose, well balanced, worth pursuing

Wine & Spirits(2006 Vintage) This blend appears to be very concentrated. It has a deep ruby/garnet core with a lighter, purple outer rim. It has an open nose, full of figs and cassis, oak, vanilla extract and chalk. This is a full body wine with firm tannins, balanced acid and a nice long finish. Pair this wine with a confit of salted duck leg, garlic and shallots, wilted mustard greens and warm German potato salad. The plate might sound a little abstract but the pair will do the trick.
