(2011 Vintage) This process allowed the wine to develop its tannic structure slowly, which accounts for its aromas of coffee, chocolate, blackberry and anise. On the palate, taste plum and spice.
Very dark purple. Strongly fruity nose. Pleasant, fruity flavor with light tannins. Smooth, light, lasting taste. Nice value.
grippy, tangy, almost metallic aftertaste. easily drinkable, not delicate.
Very full bodied with pepper notes. Dryer wine but not overly.

Decanter(2004 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Hints of redcurrant jam fruits, subdued, some raspberry hints. Sweet and spicy, dry, leathery backbone, nice integration and balance. Excellent long, spicy finish. Drink 2011-17 .
