Wine Description

(From 2011 Vintage) This process allowed the wine to develop its tannic structure slowly, which accounts for its aromas of coffee, chocolate, blackberry and anise. On the palate, taste plum and spice.

Winemaker's Notes

(From 2010 Vintage) Intense red color with violet hints. The wine shows sweet aromas of blackberry and plum jam with a touch of black pepper, an elegant touch of smoke, vanilla and chocolate. A velvety texture, soft tannins and a long finish.

Very dark purple. Strongly fruity nose. Pleasant, fruity flavor with light tannins. Smooth, light, lasting taste. Nice value.

(From 2004 Vintage) Rating: 4/5 - As reviewed by Decanter. Hints of redcurrant jam fruits, subdued, some raspberry hints. Sweet and spicy, dry, leathery backbone, nice integration and balance. Excellent long, spicy finish. Drink 2011-17 .
