The aromas of Bing cherry, dark chocolate, clove, and roasted fig. Persistent flavors of ripe raspberry, boysenberry, pomegranate, and vanilla linger harmoniously, for a smooth and luscious finish.
nose: demure and a bit musty. definitely not classic zin. flavor: wild, tannic, spicy, powerful, underleaf flavor. wonderful. tempting to pair with meat, but could go solo. intensely flavorful. actually blend with majority zin. made by Dave Phinney; new owner from 2009 vintage.
incredibly full and complex body with smooth finish. drink alone or with anything.
starts sweet. goes nutty. finishes sweet. smooth throughout. really good wine.
