The wine expresses a ruby red color with violet reflections, while an aroma of spicy blackberry and other berries is expressed. On the palate are ripe berries that give sensations of chocolate and flashes of balsamic.

Robert Parker(2010 Vintage) The 2010 Sette Ponte is drop dead gorgeous. Tar licorice, incense, plums and graphite jump from the glass in a wine that impresses for it's nuance, delineation and sheer class. The tannins are firm, but also beautifully balanced. Readers should give the 2010 a few years in bottle to come around, but even today, the wine's balance is utterly impeccable. This is a great showing from Sette Ponti. Drink 2017 through 2030.
