(From 2006 Vintage) Impresses for the sheer power of ripeness, but also and especially for the structure. The flavors of blackberries, cherries, currants, cocoa, herbs and sweetly smoked oak are beautiful and complex, yet the tannin-acid balance is near perfect. This single-vineyard wine is one of the finest Sonoma County Cabernets of the vintage. Should age effortlessly through 2010, growing purer and more elegant. - Editors Choice
  • Wine Spectator
(From 2006 Vintage) Well-proportioned, intense, concentrated and richly flavored, with layers of loamy currant, anise, blackberry, mineral and sage that are full-blown and powerful, yet not without a measure of finesse and elegance. Best from 2011 through 2017
