(2010 Vintage) After being crushed, the grapes were cooled down and trodden by foot during four hours in granite lagares and then transferred to small refrigerated stainless steel vinifying vats. Each grape variety is vinified separately. All the wine was matured in French Allier oak barriques (225 litres). 80% new and 20% second usage.
jet black colour, no light getting through. aromas of tar, pepper and cinnamon. flavours surprisingly gentle, strawberry / raspberry notes with hint vanilla. nicely balanced, very good length but a little narrow
Deep ruby, almost purple color. Full-bodied flavors of dark plums, blackberries, earth, raisin, mocha and vanilla. Firm tannins and nice acidity. Will age well. Drink between 2013 and 2021.

very nice wine, enjoyed this with new york strip (mustard sauce) and Lima beans and a baked potato.
