Owen Roe Abbot's Table Red

Wine Description

(2014 Vintage) Reminiscent of the bold Abbot’s Table blends of past vintages, this 2014 bottling is rich and structured. Sweet aromas of red plums, cherry cordial and a slight floral characteristic. These sweet aromas give way to a more serious palate brimming with ripe Bing cherries, cinnamon and clove with a lingering mocha finish. The 2014 Abbot’s is beautifully structured with bright acidity and fine mouth-coating tannins.

Got as gift from Steve and Maggie Jackson in summer 2010. Nice deep red. They got it at 1st Avenue Wine House in Cedar Rapids.
